MS and MS-alone
The ms-alone utility is a stand-alone command line utility, that allows you to
- import the data from several input formats (TXT, mzData, MGF, mzXML, mzML, Bruker, etc.) and make several basic spectrum operations like cropping, baseline subtraction, smoothing,
-
- find local maxima above the given s/n and extract the peaks, identify isotope peaks, compute peak partial areas,
- approximate whole peaks by a given function (gaussian, sum of 2 gaussian) and precisely recompute the peak maximum intensity and the peak area,
- export the peaklist (m/z, baseline intensity, absolute intensity, peak intensity, relative intensity, full width at half max-imum, isotope group, signal-to-noise ratio, identified peak charge and mass, m/z interval at given relative height, approximated parameters when peaks approximated by a function, etc.) and the spectrum (m/z and intensity) for processing in other software.
